The Language of Pastels

Pastels are sticks of luminous colors used to draw and paint with. Join Instructor Helen Shafer Garcia and nurture your creativity with an introduction to paint with soft pastels. Helen will help you build your drawing skills to convey your creative soul as you practice textures and strokes while creating beautiful color layers. Discover the vocabulary of color with exploratory color arrangements to build paint layers giving your art dimension and intrigue. All skill levels welcome! Please note, all supplies will be provided for 2 quarter sheet (11 x 15”) paintings with an additional $20 (cash-only) materials fee.
