Fresh lavender, protea, eucalyptus, wax flowers, and various fillers. We are selling these plants and flowers that we are growing at the Daily Ranch and other beautiful items for your home.
Helen Daily was born July 1, 1918, in Missouri and passed away April 17, 1997, in Fallbrook, CA.
Ross and Helen moved from Missouri to Los Angeles and got married in 1937. In the early 1960s, they moved to Rainbow and then settled in De Luz. they farmed avocado trees and various other fruits over the years. They raised 2 daughters, Joan and Lynda. They had 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was very down to earth preferring to be the quiet one and not seeking the limelight. She only finished the eighth grade. Mr. Ross Daily built Ross Lake in 1961 which is adjacent to the ranch.
Helen was the ultimate homemaker, mother, and grandmother. she was a wonderful cook and baker. Family was important to her. A full dining room table was pure happiness to her. She loved gardening and her home was always in perfect condition inside and out, including her windows. They had to be perfectly clean!
Fast forward to 2022. Ross and Tasha, grandchildren of Ross & Helen, decided to pay tribute to their grandparents. They did this by planting 32,000 flowers at their grandparents’ ranch in De Luz. Fresh lavender, protea, eucalyptus, wax flowers, and various fillers.
