This fun workshop will spark your imagination and ignite your passion for glass! Join Instructor Susan Hirsch and learn how to create a candle “house” using layers of colored glass and thin strands of glass called stringers for fine detail. You’ll learn how to cut glass as well as grind glass into “frit” to create your unique house design. Susan will share her techniques and tricks of the trade, so all skill levels are welcome to join! Your glass art will go into the kiln twice. Once to be fired initially and then to be “slumped” over a three-sided mold which creates a spectacular glass house ready for your candles to bring them to life. All materials and tools are provided.
