On February 4, from 2:00 – 3:00, Wild Wonders will offer a special “Meet and Greet” program at its Bonsall wild animal refuge.  While guests enjoy snacks and beverages in the cheetah observation area, they will meet Tavi and Yara.  Tavi is a 2 year old cheetah, and Yara is a yellow Lab and Tavi’s BFF.  This will be followed by a relaxed Meet and Greet with Jackie Navarro, Wild Wonders’ Founder and Director.

Since 2007, Wild Wonders has been the forever home to cheetah ambassadors.  During Jackie’s over 20+ trips to Africa, she fell in love with these animals and became aware of the very bleak outlook for them in the wild.  Her connections with multiple cheetah conservation organizations in South Africa have made Wild Wonders a true partner in the fight to save these majestic animals.

Jackie will talk about a few of these organizations, the programs that they have in place, and the successes and challenges they have faced.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to cheetah conservation.
