Italy is full of opulent marble, granite, and Italian art papers in rich color schemes that people have coveted for centuries. Now you can create your own Italian-inspired veneers using polymer clay. Join Instructor Ginna Brooks as she shows her ingenious techniques of combining clay for gorgeous swirls, hues and decorative patterns for veneers to wrap around all your favorite items and turn them into artful treasures. Anything can be adorned that’s made of metal, wood or glass. So, get creative and bring your everyday items and turn them into works of art! Suggested items are votive candle holders, picture frames (3x5” only), cosmetic brushes, pocket mirrors, tin nib holders, small bottles, calligraphy pens, knitting needles, keys, small bottle openers, paperclips, and the list goes on! All materials included to veneer a few items. Ginna will have extra items as well as additional PREMO! Polymer Clay in a variety of colors for purchase during class. Beginners are welcome. Please note, there is an additional $10 cash-only supply fee due at the workshop. Plastic items cannot be veneered!
