How to start vermicomposting 🪱:

🌱 Build or purchase a worm bin 

🌱 Create bedding with newspaper or coconut coir 🗞️🥥

🌱 Place the bin in a well-ventilated and temperate area ⛅

🌱 Add your worms.

🌱 Feed your worms fruit and veggie scraps 🍌🥕(there are a few exceptions!), give them some grit, like your crushed-up eggshells 🥚 and they're ready to go! You may want to start out with a small amount of food, since worms can be overwhelmed by too much at once. 🪱☹️

🌱 Harvest the castings and mix them in with soil to benefit both your indoor and outdoor plants. 🪴🌳
